The new Sprint Epic 4G smart phone uses the Android operating system and is already receiving recognition for its unique features and surprisingly competitive pricing. So what is so epic about the Samsung Epic 4G? Well, for starters it will be the first 4G smart phone in America with a full QWERTY keyboard and an incredible super AMOLED touch screen display. The Samsung Epic 4G is expected to be available through all Sprint retailers and online on August 31st 2010. The new 4G infrastructure will make browsing the internet with this phone as fas as any connection you’ve used before. Now you’ll be able to experience full speed browsing on a mobile device.

Surprisingly, the phone will only cost $250 (with a 2 year contract) after a mail in rebate of $100 is received. However, pre-ordering this phone is going to be absolutely necessary in many places, because many experts believe that most of the current scheduled stock will sell out before it even reaches the stores! The phone is expected to be incredibly fast with a Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor utilizing the famous Android operating system from Google. The 5 megapixel camera takes amazing pictures and records high definition 720p videos on the go, and viewing them on the vibrant LED touch screen display. If you want the best smart phone this year then you should definitely look into the seemingly unlimited features and capabilities of the Samsung Epic 4G.

ProMini Wireless Keyboard and Touch Pad Review http://www.gadgetmode.net/promini-wireless-keyboard-and-touch-pad-review/ http://www.gadgetmode.net/promini-wireless-keyboard-and-touch-pad-review/#comments Sat, 02 Oct 2010 10:03:00 +0000 admin http://www.gadgetmode.net/?p=13 Sitting directly in front of a computer for long periods of time can be stressful on your back, eyes and overall posture. Many people are beginning to use wireless keyboards with larger monitors as an alternative, as it lets them sit further away from the computer in a more comfortable and natural position. Unfortunately, many wireless keyboards are not very portable because they are the size of a regular keyboard, which needless to say is somewhat lengthy. A wireless keyboard also does solve the issue of not having a wireless mouse, which has to be purchased separately and is usually more difficult to use unless you are using it on a flat surface. All of these issues and so much more are taken care of by the new ProMini Wireless Keyboard and Touch Mouse, which features the firs ever 90 degree flip design touch pad, a truly revolutionary wireless keyboard feature.

The ProMini wireless keyboard is perfect for those nights when you want to relax and use your widescreen computer monitor as a television with your family. With remote control of your computer you can change the sons on you playlist, pause and play movies, and do anything else you could normally do on your computer, from across the room. Surprisingly, the ProMini is extremely affordable, costing only about $70 brand new! The battery life of the keyboard is also very long because it is a lithium ion battery. Despite their small size, the keys are very pronounced and much easier to stroke than one would expect. To add to all of the cool aforementioned features the keyboard also has a built in Laser Pointer just for kicks. If you wan the best wireless keyboard on the market then you should definitely consider the ProMini Wireless Keyboard and Touch Pad Combo.

Pandigital Novel eBook Reader Review http://www.gadgetmode.net/pandigital-novel-ebook-reader-review/ http://www.gadgetmode.net/pandigital-novel-ebook-reader-review/#comments Sat, 14 Aug 2010 10:02:28 +0000 admin http://www.gadgetmode.net/?p=9 eBook readers are quickly becoming popular around the world as more people are becoming familiar with the undeniable benefits of using digital media rather than paper for their reading enjoyment. The obvious advantages of storing hundreds of books on a single handheld device cannot be disputed, so it not surprising that there a plethora of eBook reader models on the market today, in all shapes, sizes and colors. While some people consider eBook readers to be an unnecessary technical novelty, the Pandigital Novel is anything but, being compatible with many other kinds of third-party eBook files and software it is being called the ultimate eBook reader by many. At only about $180 a piece the Novel is not exactly the cheapest eBook reader, but it is definitely a fair price for such a powerful portable media device.

The Pandigital Novel runs on the famous Google Android operating system, which is quickly sweeping the portable market as the OS of choice in almost every new tablet device. The display is not like many of the conventional black and white, etch-a-sketch looking eBook readers, as the Novel boasts a 7 inch color display that is anything but bland. Surprisingly, thanks to the Android operating system, the Novel can do so much more than just read eBooks with the help of third-party Android apps. In fact, with a little bit of “technical manipulating” it is even possible to install apps that are completely unrelated to reading books, such as Gmail, Google calendar, Google voice, and even Google maps!

Dell Streak Review – Now Available in US http://www.gadgetmode.net/dell-streak-review-now-available-in-us/ http://www.gadgetmode.net/dell-streak-review-now-available-in-us/#comments Sat, 05 Jun 2010 10:00:51 +0000 admin http://www.gadgetmode.net/?p=5 The Dell streak has been one of the premier tablet devices in the United Kingdom for quite some time now, and there was lot of speculation about when it would be available in the United States. Finally after a long period of anticipation it is being offered in stores throughout America. The sleek 5 inch portable beauty is a refreshing change in comparison to the plethora of smart phones that have been released within the last few years. The Dell Streak can be purchased for about $300 with a 2 year AT&T contract, and about $550 without the contract. Unfortunately for those that like to use cheap third party services the device locked to AT&T service.

The Dell Streak bears a striking resemblance to an all purpose portable media player, like the popular touch screen MP4 players. The device runs on the increasingly popular and powerful Android operating system form Google and comes with integrated Wi-FI connectivity. Of course the tablet also supports 3G internet, which makes it perfect for high speed browsing on the go. Unlike many portable devices the Dell Streak displays web sites in their natural form, instead of a compressed mobile version that is lacking much of the functionality and simplified navigation of regular web pages. The operating system is also a refreshing change in comparison to portable devices that operate with Windows. Google has done an excellent job of producing an operating system that is perfect for mobile devices due to its unique computing capabilities.
